Mills Family Farms, Salinas, Calif., has been named best producer of single leaf lettuce in a taste test by the American Academy of Taste, San Francisco.

Its Wholeaves® line of whole leaf lettuce will be honored with a gold medal award Nov. 21 at the 11th Annual U.S.A. Gold Medal Food & Beverage Awards in Las Vegas.
