MILLS ANNOUNCES NEW EMPLOYEE

Mills Family Farms, a vertically integrated grower-shipper based in Salinas, CA, has announced that James E. Mills will be joining the company and will focus on business development in the value-added category.

Mr. Mills will be responsible for the development of the marketing program for the company’s award-winning line of “Wholeaves®” products, as well as assisting in the day-to-day sales operations of all Mills Family Farms products.

Mr. Mills is a 2002 graduate of the University of California-Santa Barbara with a bachelor’s degree in communications. He comes to Mills Family Farms from Reply! Inc. in Walnut Creek, CA, where he served most recently as director of sales and business development manager.

Mills Family Farms has made a commitment to agriculture and the Salinas Valley since its inception in 1956. The firm is a member of the Produce Marketing Association, United Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Association, Western Growers Association, Produce for Better Health Foundation and the Grower-Shipper Association of Central California.

With James Mills representing the third generation of the Mills family to join the company, Mills Family Farms will continue its commitment of being a reliable and ethical presence in the Salinas Valley for years to come.
