  Mills Family Farms, a vertically integrated grower and shipper based in Salinas, CA, announced the addition of CHRIS MILLS as marketing associate, effective June 22. The addition coincided with the company's continued growth in the whole leaf and value-added categories.
   As marketing associate, Mr. Mills, who is the son of David Mills and grandson of Basil Mills, will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of marketing, advertising and public relations for Mills Family Farms and its award-winning line of Mills Family Farms "Wholeaves®" products.
   Mr. Mills received a bachelor's degree in agricultural business with a marketing concentration from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2004, where he was on the dean's list for three years. He graduated from Palma High School in Salinas in 1999 and enjoys golf, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and watching the Cubs.
