Western Growers Association Honors Basil Mills

The Western Growers Association will honor Basil Mills, founder and president, of Mills Family Farms, by presenting him its Award of Honor at its annual meeting on Thursday November 12. The Award of Honor recognizes a member who has distinguished himself in the agriculture industry and the community.

Mills, a longtime member and past chairman of the Western Growers, was selected because of his numerous contributions to culture and commerce. He served on the trade association's board of directors from 1985 - 1991.
